Carbon is a heavily burned and brushed exterior cladding board designed for long-lasting façade applications. The surface is treated with UV-resistant natural oil, ensuring durability and color stability in outdoor conditions.
Selected coniferous boards are burned on all four sides, forming a carbon layer of at least 2 mm. After brushing, rinsing, and drying, the boards are finished with special outdoor oil that protects against UV exposure. The controlled burning process ensures a consistent and uniform surface structure.
Over time, the dark brown tone will gradually soften into a rich chocolate shade. The original depth of color can easily be restored with re-oiling.
